Why it matters: the county mails one secured property tax bill a year (by November 1). It covers both installments, so no paper reminder comes before the second installment is due. E-Bills send reminder notices before the due dates.
What you get
- Reminder notices before payment due dates
- 24/7 online access to view or download a PDF of your tax bill
- Optional: you keep getting paper bills too
How to enroll
- Wait for your current-year property tax bill. It has an E-Bill Code in the Important Messages section (upper right). Each property has its own code.
- Go to www.nevadacountyca.gov/ebills and choose E-Bills Sign Up/Login (MyCountyConnect). You can log in with Google, Microsoft, Amazon or an email address.
- Enter the code to add your property.
Fine print: not getting an email reminder does not excuse a late payment or its penalties.
