Who it's for: California community-based organizations that have the staff capacity and readiness to put the resources to work. It is a free program, not a grant.
What you get (free)
The California Department of Technology (CDT) partners with seven organizations to give community groups:
- Northstar Digital Literacy: assessments and training. See Northstar.
- digitalLIFT: digital navigator and capacity-building training. See digitalLIFT.
- Human-I-T: devices, AI training curriculum and navigation support. See Human-I-T.
- California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), EveryoneOn, East Bay Broadband Consortium and the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA).
Services include digital literacy training, AI training curriculum, device access programs, digital navigator training, remote help enrolling in internet service, and data tracking tools.
