Museums for All — free or reduced museum admission for SNAP/EBT families

Museums for All is a national access program (run by the Institute of Museum and Library Services with the Association of Children's Museums) that lets anyone receiving SNAP/EBT (CalFresh) food benefits get free or reduced admission — typically $0–$3 per person — at more than 1,300 participating museums, science centers, zoos, botanical gardens, and children's museums across the U.S.

Who qualifies

  • Anyone with a SNAP/EBT (CalFresh) card. Show your EBT card plus a photo ID at the admission desk.
  • The discount usually covers your household (commonly up to 4 people; exact terms vary by museum).

How to use it

  1. Find a participating museum at museums4all.org.
  1. Bring your EBT card and a matching photo ID to admission.
  1. Pay the reduced rate (often free to $3 per person).
Admission terms vary by venue, so check the museum's Museums for All listing before you go.
