Who it's for: anyone in Nevada County with a broken item who would rather fix it than throw it away. It's free.
What you get
- Skilled volunteer fixers and sewers do their best to repair what you bring, for free.
- They work on small appliances, electronics, mechanical items, bikes, furniture, textiles and jewelry, and they sharpen knives. Examples: toasters, lamps, clocks, vacuums, bike tires and clothing seams.
- Not fixed: helmets, car seats, gas-fueled appliances, e-bike batteries, smoke alarms, large appliances, and items that are pest- or mold-infested or leaking fuel or fluids.

- Saturday, October 24, 2026 and Saturday, December 5, 2026, 2–5 pm
